Pawan Kalyan to meet IIT JEE topper

Tollywood is all heart. After Hyderabad Times, dated May 27, 2011, published an interview with IIT JEE topper, I Prudhvi Tej, who expressed his desire to meet Power Star Pawan Kalyan, the actor has instructed his office to make arrangements for a meeting between him and the wonder-boy.

"Pawan Kalyan is shooting in Kolkata right now. When I called and informed him about Prudhvi's wish, he immediately gave instructions to his office to make arrangements for the meeting," said producer Konda Krishnam Raju. "Pawan was glad to know that a boy from the State topped the examination. If Pawan meeting Prudhvi could encourage the young boy and others, he is more than ready to do his bit," informed Krishnam Raju. The boy is looking forward to meeting the star.

Meanwhile, actor Siddharth too has expressed his desire to meet Prudhvi. "IIT topper Prudhvi Tej wants to meet 'power star' Pawan Kalyan! How sweet... I want to meet Prudhvi Tej now :)" posted the actor on a mircoblogging site

Power Star inspires IIT Topper

We are aware that, Hyderabad boy Prudhvi Teja has topped the list of successful candidates in IIT-JEE 2011 examination, where over 4.85 lakh students appeared for 9,600 seats in 15 IITs.

IIT topper Prudhvi Teja's name has been trending in top social networking sites. The teenage boy has no clue about why his name has become the 'trend-setter'. A normal kid like many, Prudhvi Teja isn’t a book worm. He watches films and idolizes the heroes in them.

Apparently, Prudhvi Teja is a die hard fan of Power Star Pawan Kalyan and he wishes to meet him some day. "My favorite hero is Pawan Kalyan and I like his 'Tammudu' film very much. I identify myself with Subbu character in it. Me too used to bunk classes like Subbu but wanted to achieve something big in life like him," said Teja in an interview.

"Pawan Kalyan was inspired by his brother and won gold medal in Tammudu. Likewise I want to achieve gold medal in Mathematics and Science Olympiad," he added. We wish Pawan Kalyan makes time to meet this kid who could well reach greater heights with that "power booster"!

Jr.NTR's Oosaravelli Movie Shooting in Ramoji Film City

Jr.NTR's forthcoming movie under Surender Reddy is tentatively titled as Oosaravelli is busy in canning scenes at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

Milky White actress Tamanna is playing as love interest to Ntr.JR in Oosaravelli movie.Here is the news that right now director is shooting few scenes indulging supporting cast of the film while JR.NTR to join the shoot on May 26th.As per the sources Oosaravelli has finished its major part of the shooting in earlier schedules which wrapped up in March.The filmmakers of Oosaravelli movie are planning to complete entire movie shooting as early as possible and finalising the movie to release in August.

Music Director Devi Sri Prasad is roped in for composing tunes for Ntr's Oosaravelli movie.The audio of Oosaravelli film is set to release in July.B V S N Prasad is producing this film under Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra banner.

Nagarjuna forthcoming socio-fantasy film Damarukam is all set to shoot its next schedule at Chelukudi Water falls in Kerala from June 6th.Damarukam has earlier wrapped up shooting in Switzerland in the month of March.

Srinivas Reddy is shaping up the film with high budget and to be socio fantasy thriller film in Nagarjuna's carrer.Director has completed picturising a song among the lead pair under Choreographer Raju Sundaram guidance.

Sekhar Kammula to Cannes Film Festival

National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) is going to promote six Indian filmmakers at Cannes Film Festival this year. The big news is that Sekhar Kammula has been chosen as one of the filmmakers in this elite group which also includes Anurag Kashyap, Anusha Rizvi, Dibakar Banerjee, Laxmikant Shetgaonkar and Haobam Pabam Kumar.

Every year, hundreds of filmmakers, actors, directors, production houses, distributors throng to Cannes, France to get the first sneek peek of what are the latest films and trends influencing World Cinema and a Telugu film director being chosen for such an event is quite an honour in itself. Also, Sekhar Kammula is the only South Indian filmmaker to be bestowed upon this honour.

This is the first time that NFDC has been given the responsibility of managing the Indian delegation at Cannes. Screen Daily has reported that NFDC will introduce the filmmakers through a series of meetings and networking events at the Indian pavilion in Cannes, which is one of most prestigious film festivals in the world.NFDC will also reportedly showcase information about the directors' work and promote them in the international arena. The networking events sessions with France's CNC, Telefilm Canada, Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) and Israeli delegates.

In the past, NFDC had co-funded Sekhar Kammula's second film Anand which bagged several state awards and was both a critical and commercial success. Post the success of Anand, Sekhar Kammula directed Happy Days which has been remade in Tamil and Kannada. His recent film, Leader launched the careers of Rana Daggubati, Richa and Priya Anand and was hailed as one of the best films of 2010 by several critics.And as Sekhar Kammula prepares to direct his next film, an opportunity to share the stage with some of the best directors in the world might open doors to something really big. Way to go Sekhar Kammula!

Sheena (Bindaas’s Actress) Married Long Back

Sheena Shahabadi and daughter of Sadhna Singh of ‘Nadiya Ke Par‘ fame, who plays the pregnant teenager in the recently released film ‘Tere Sang’, was actually a married woman in real life! Yes, the girl was married to Vaibhav Mohite, whose dad works in the Mumbai Police department. When we called Sheena, to clarify the news, she retorted, “My marriage to him was the biggest blunder of my life. You can imagine what kind of a man he is, if he’s trying to gain publicity now when the film is releasing. I have nothing to do with him. I was in a bad marriage and separated with him a long time ago.”


She further added, “My parents have always taught me to speak the truth, so I won’t deny it. But I shall add that people make blunders, and I did so, too. However, I have emerged stronger and have moved on. There’s no looking back now.”


The actress mentioned that people had some kind words to say about her performance in Tere Sang. “But I’m not on seventh heaven; I have my feet firmly in the ground. Yes, a few offers are coming my way, that’s exciting.” Sheena looks forward to the release of her yet-to-be-titled Telugu film opposite Babu’s son Mahesh this October. But the girl is happy that she’s getting busier.

Mahesh fighting at Charminar!

Mahesh Babu is being busy with the shoot of his forthcoming flick Dhookudu. Currently, the action scenes in the film are being canned at Charminar, Hyderabad. Next to this, a song will be canned on the lead pair Mahesh and Samantha at Padmalaya studios after which the unit will fly to Switzerland for filming little talkie part and a song.

Srinu Vytla is wielding the mega phone for this romantic comedy entertainer and Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara are producing the film on 14reels entertainment banner. Thaman is scoring the music for the film. The makers are in plans to release the flick in the end of June or in the early August.

Ram Charan Work out at GYM

Mega Power Star Ramcharan, who was undergoing the physical training in USA for more than two months to get the new look for his new film. Ramcharan new film under the direction of young director Sampath Nandi is going to start soon, actually it was supposed to start from April 25th but due to the strike in Tollywood the movie launch has been postponed to May.

Now Ramcharan is back in Hyderabad, after his physical training at David Barton Gym in USA.  You can have a look of Ramcharan new look with muscular body.

BADRINADH STORY IS SIMILAR TO NAGARJUNA'S MOVIE "Janaki Ramudu".


as an inspiration again but a slight change nag grown up in a village and then he comes back after born.But in badrinadh allu arjun will born in an hill station and his village is famous for martial arts and he will be good in martial arts.

actor allu arjun has undergone professional training in martial arts at Vietnam. Justifying the title, the film is based on a backdrop of sacred place Badrinath.
Tamannah will be seen opposite Arjun for the first time. Prakash Raj will be seen in a crucial role in the film as an Guru of allu arjun.Prakash Raj didn't like his daughter tammana loving allu arjun and he tries to kill allu arjun with his another shishya(villan) but unexpectedly both allu arjun and thamana dies.
and next the starting of movie starts in hyderabad.



1st half:- film starts in hyderabad with normal bike introduction of allu arjun and herione in jeans in college backdrop
and how they fall in love in 1st half and then they went to tour to badrinadh temple and there they
see prakash raj as old man and then he tells story and then 2nd half flash back episode.



2nd half:- full of mass elements as badrindh is famous for martial training will be depicted, allu arjun doing well except his long hair.nice fight sequences.then a twist that villan enters the scene and again try to capture
herione and in final hero saves herione and kills vilan finally and prakash raj will join hands of hero
and herione.

Jr NTR's 'Achcha Telugu Pelli'

Jr NTR is going to get into wedlock in a few days. He is following the full dose of traditional style as per the event. While Allu Arjun celebrated typically in Northern and western style with Sangeeth etc, Jr NTR prefers his wedding to be simple and traditionally rich.
The marriage is going to be performed at Nimmakur, the ancestral village of Nandamuris. He is wearing Pattupancha and not carrying any turban on head for the actual ceremony. He is going to be adorned as typical Telugu Groom with baasikam, kaatuka, gorintaku, bugga-chukka and paaraani to feet.


On the other hand the bride is not on very low key, but buzzing some affluent bells. Her wedding saree may cost Rs 50 lakh while the other two sarees are about Rs 30 lakh each. Already she is wearing Rs 4 Cr worth jewelry studded with diamonds and other gems, say sources.


The wedding card of Jr sounded very traditional while that of Pranathi's side will be a costly affair. Sources say that their card may cost around Rs 4000. The proposed Honeymoon destination for Jr NTR couple would be Bali, as per inside sources.

Bunny is doing a role of an Ancient Indian soldier, Considering the importance of the Fight sequences and heavy action episodes in the movie it is known that Bunny has got specially trained at Veitnam, fights are being composed by Peter heins.

This movie based on History of India has Tamana as a female lead and is made on huge budget under the Geetha Arts Banner, Music is by MM keervani is yet to be released and story by Chinni Krishna is the highlight of the movie for which visual effects has its own importance. Goutham Raju is doing the editing work for the movie and cinematography is by Ravi Varman.

Director Tortured Ravi Teja And Thaman

When it comes to the role of a director, doing big movies with big stars and big banners is a major challenging task. Handling the egos of various seniors and experienced personnel is difficult. Unless there is a star director they will not listen. But here is one man who is in the growing stages but has won the accolades from many.
He is Ramesh Varma of ‘Ride’ fame and right now, he is busy with the making of his new movie ‘Veera’. Apparently, he has got a new name and that is ‘Super Cool’ director. The reason for that is his special ability to get work done despite many tantrums and other whims of key technicians and artistes in his unit.


On the other hand, those who saw the rushes of ‘Veera’ are patting Ramesh Varma on back and are saying “We should call you ‘Super Cool’ Director. We know how you finished the work with smiles despite long torture from your key technicians Chota K Naidu and Thaman and star artiste Ravi Teja. Now you are out of that big torture. You have a wonderful future as star director given your talent of getting work done.”
Ramesh Varma, replied them, “It sounds as torture for the people those who have seen technicians and artistes not listening to my words in first instance. I had to explain them in detail for every single idea. I love that and consider that as part of my job. With that I think. I’ve tortured Ravi Teja, Chota K Naidu and Thaman. Smile is the best medicine. When I smile in utter pressure, the immediate thing I find is pleasure. Things get solved with a pleasant smile when I’m in tension”.
Well, let us see how this ‘Super Cool Director’ is going to entertain with his new product ‘Veera’, produced by Tolly2Holly.

Balakrishna coming as Mahadeva Naidu

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film in the direction of Paruchuri Murali has finally got a title. The tile Mahadeva Naidu has been registered in the film chamber by the producers. The film will see Balakrishna act in three different roles of three different generations.The film is slated to be a late summer release. M L Kumar Chowdary produces this film on Sri Keerthi Combines.

Brahmi Gadi Katha to be completed in 36hrs

Brahmi Gadi Katha with Varun Sandesh in the main lead and Krishnudu in a prominent role directed by Eshwar Reddy is being made with variety concept. Asmit sood is making her debut as a heroine in the movie, the director is planning to do an experiment yet again like his previous movie Manorama which is based on story happened in one day at the same locations. This story is said to be based on the hassle between two friends in the time span of 36 hrs, Who is bramhi in the movie will be a suspense untill we watch the movie.

Brahmi Gadi Katha is An Out and Out comedy based movie made under the banner Multi Dimensions produced by Rajat Pardasaradhi. Music is by Koti and Poonam Kaur is acting in a special role in the film which is expected to be released in the month of may.

Rana replaces Abhishek in Department

Department the next biggie from Ram Gopal Varma is going through casting changes at the moment. The cast initially comprised of Ram Gopal Varma’s favorites Bachan’s both senior and junior along with Sanjay Dutt. But now it has undergone a change and Abhishek Bachan has been replaced. His replacement well is none other than our own Rana Daggubati. Both of them shared screen space in the recently released Dum Maaro Dum. We wonder if the casting change has got anything to do with the recent box office performances of Abhishek Bachan films. Well whatever may be the case Rana surely is getting the right projects.
