According to film nagar sources, before starting of Aarya 2 - producer Allu Arvind spoke to director Sukumar with a condition that he would give Aarya 2 only if the next movie from Sukumar will be under the banner of Geetha Arts. Sukumar is said to have said yes for that and the sequel has got ready. Sources say, his next project would be with Varun Sandeesh and Tamanah which would be another prestigious project under Geeta Arts.
Famous producer G K Reddy - father of Vishal is making movie titled 'Ghanudu' under the banner of G K Films, this movie was launched on Vijayadashami day at their office. This movie would be directed by Thanraj introducing a new hero Anand Raj was stated by G K Reddy.

A R Rahman’s live concert, Jai Ho, is scheduled to be held on October 11, 2009 from 6.00 p.m. The concert will be held at the MARG Swarnabhoomi site on ECR after Mahabalipuram.
Organized by MARG, the concert is aimed at raising funds for ‘The Shakti Foundation’ and in support of the A R Rahman Foundation. Madras Transport Corporation has also announced free bus rides for fans to and from the venue that start from various locations and snake through the city touching various important pick points.
