Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Trisha starrer 'Teenmaar' broke all records and collected over Rs 1.7 crore in United States of America over the weekend. This movie which released last week got good reviews for Pawan's action and is doing well at the box office. Interestingly, prominent trade analyst in Bollywood, Taran Adarsh revealed that Teen Maar did better business than most big budget, star studded Bollywood films. Directed by Jayant C Paranjee, the film is a remake of Love Aaj Kal. Even Imtiaz Ali, the directed of Love Aaj Kal stated that he was quite impressed with the Telugu version.
The movie is doing well in Tamilnadu too. Pawan fans report that the film is running for houseful in Madurai and Tanjavur and surrounding areas.
"After Rajinikanth, it is Pawan Kalyan for us.He is the next big superstar in South India. We did a lot of hungama at the theatres" an enthusiatic fan said.
Even in Nizam and Andhra, the movie collections are consistent and according to trade sources, it will easily break even and earn profits for producer Ganesh Babu.
Pawan Kalyan charged Rs 7 crore, Trisha Rs 70 lakh, Trivikram Srinivas Rs 2.5 crore and director Jayant C Paranji Rs 1 crore as remuneration for this movie.
