Like father – like son, seems to be the way in which Naga Chaitanya is going. Like Nagarjuna, Chaitanya too is showing an increasing tendency to experiment. While Josh, for a first film, was way too mature in terms of message his second film with Gautam Menon is termed as a “sensitive love story”. If any of you here think the music score by A R Rehman is a commercial plus, please think again. Rehman sure composes great music, but his tastes tilt more towards the artistic side and, it is difficult if not impossible to ask Rehman to compose a mass item number. Chaitanya can ask his mama Venkatesh on that score or look into why Suresh Productions and Rehman have never worked together after Super Police. And just too prove a point; the very same Gautam Menon is directing an out and out action flick with Mahesh Babu, for a film produced by Manjula! Chaitanya would do well to reassure his distributors, who by the way have surely taken a hit, that he will keep their commercials in mind before he finalizes script and casting for his films.
