Aapta Mithra which was a hit in Kannada had Vishnuvardhan as the hero. Now the sequel Aapta Raksha has the same hero and is directed by Vasu again. Sandhya, Bhavana, Vimala Raman, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy are present in the film though the lead role Chandramukhi to be played by a popular actress is yet to be announced. Vasu had even met Rajnikant regarding the remake of this film as Chandramukhi’s sequel, told him the story point but the superstar is yet to make his announcement.
