Trust Mallika Sherawat to jump on every Holly-wood bandwagon these days. News of her Los Angeles sojourn is now an everyday occasion, but the latest may be taking the cake. The sexy siren has expressed an interest in getting her body insured — it is, after all, her “best asset”. It follows in a long line of Hollywood stars and Europe’s biggest footballers getting assorted body parts insured. But Mallika would be the first Indian celebrity to do something similar.

Real Madrid’s world record acquisiton — former Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo — was recently told by his new club that they were insuring his legs for a whopping £90 million.

David Beckham did the same a few years ago for a princely sum of around $70 million, while Jennifer Lopez insured the asset that first shot her to international stardom — her behind! Of course Mallika has had no hits to her credit for a long time. Her only upcoming project is Hisss, for which Mallika recently made news for refusing to bare her behind. It remains to be seen what price someone puts on Mallika’s fab figure.
