And when she went to the dargah on Monday with some of her family members she chose to offer a chaddar just as any other devotee would, sans any security cover. The actress in fact asked her security personnel to stay outside and then stood in a long queue waiting her turn to offer a chaddar. “However, it was clearly visible from the actress’s face how hassled she was feeling standing amidst the crowd. But she didn’t call for her security and stayed inside for almost 15 minutes until she got a chance to pray,” said a source present at the dargah.
Her fans, in a bid to catch a glimpse of the actress gathered in huge numbers around her, but Priyanka, though frazzled, managed to keep her cool. She later told TOI, “It was very crowded, but I had no problems. I was very happy with my visit.” However, the lady, while trying to move out of the crowded premises hopped into the first car parked outside the dargah, without even waiting to see if it was her car. When she realised the faux pas she apologised to the people inside the car and left the place.(TOI)
